Tip:
this movement looks exceptionally stunning with Thai nails
Tip:
wrists, heels of hands, pads of thumbs, and pads of pinkie (smallest)
finger remain connected throughout move
•
To obtain starting
hand position, start with Temple
at Ribs. Rotate wrists so fingertips face audience.
•
Slowly extend arms
toward audience while (maintaining connection of R hand to L hand)
separating fingers vertically. (For example, R and L index finger
are still flat against each other, but they are now longer touching the
thumb above or the middle finger below. There is space between the
fingers on each hand.)
•
As
pull farther away from body, separate R index-middle-ring fingers from L
while maintaining connection in wrists, heel of hand, thumbs, and pinkie
fingers. (Imagine your hands have become a starburst or blossoming
lotus flower.)
•
Push as far away
from body toward audience as possible as though emitting a ball of energy
from the cup of your hands to them.
•
When you can push
forward no more, slowing pull arms toward body. As doing so,
reconnect R index-middle-ring fingers with L.
•
Continue
pulling in toward body while reconnecting fingers vertically.
•
End
with wrists/heel of hands at rib center with fingertips facing audience.
