Dolphin 

   Base Move:  Dolphin 

    

Tip: movement can be done slow (flat footed) or fast (tip toes)  

Tip: travel movement to sides or diagonals by stepping in those directions rather than straight forward or straight back

Travel Forward

     

Step Together, Step Together

Starting each set on same side (R-together-R-together).

    Start with weight centered.

    Step R foot forward and execute pelvic portion/roll up of Dolphin.

    Step L foot together as you execute rib portion of Dolphin.

    Finish Dolphin with weight centered.

    Repeat

       

Step Through

Alternate for a truer "walk." (R-L-R-L)

    Start with weight centered.

    Step R foot forward and execute full Dolphin.

    Step L foot forward and execute full Dolphin. 

    Repeat

        

Travel Back

     

Step Together, Step Together

Starting each set on same side (R-together-R-together).

    Start with weight centered.

    Step R foot back and execute pelvic portion/roll up of Dolphin.

    Step L foot back as you execute rib portion of Dolphin.

    Finish Dolphin with weight centered.

    Repeat

       

Step Through
