HI-HCL                                                          Hip Movement

   

Hip Circle (Large) 

   AKA: Hip Rotation

   Base Move(s): Hip Slide

     

     

Visualize: imagine the lower half of your body is a spoon and your stirring smooth chocolate

    

Tip: do NOT engage pelvis – no grinding

          

Counter Clockwise

    Start with weight centered and in heels.

    Step R foot out to R side farther than hip width.

    Slide R hip to R side.

    Rotate hips to front (engage lower abs).

    Slide L hip to L side.

    Rotate hips to back (no booty pop).

    Repeat whole set continuously, smooth.

       

Clockwise

    Start with weight centered and in heels.

    Step R foot out to R side farther than hip width.

    Slide R hip to R side.

    Rotate hips to back (no booty pop).

    Slide L hip to L side.

    Rotate hips to front (engage lower abs).

    Repeat whole set continuously, smooth.
