Maya 

   AKA: Mya, Figure Eight Vertical Reverse, 
      Reverse Taxeem, Reverse Undulation

   Base Move(s):  Hip Down, Hip Slides, Hip Up

     

     

    Start with weight centered and in heels.

    R hip up.

    Slide R hip to R side.

    R hip down – L hip is automatically up.

    Slide weight from R hip down to L hip up.

    Slide L hip to L side

    L hip down – L hip is automatically down.

    Slide weight from L hip down to R hip up.

    Repeat whole set continuously, smooth.

     

Visualize: imagine your hips are scraping down an ice cream container to get the soft/gooey cream on the side

    

Tip: for Tribal styling heels should remain on floor

    

Tip: this is the opposite to Snake Hips
